George Clark serves as Executive Enterprise Risk Officer at AmeriState Bank, bringing more than 27 years of experience in regional banking and financial leadership. Throughout his career, he has played a key role in transforming a community bank with approximately $500 million in assets into a $16 billion regional institution, serving in progressively senior roles and ultimately as Chief Financial Officer.

His expertise includes enterprise risk management, financial strategy, capital raising, and bank acquisitions. George has led multiple capital offerings, complex balance sheet strategies, and growth initiatives—helping institutions navigate expansion, regulatory transitions, and changing market conditions with discipline and foresight.

Lori Taylor serves as Chief Financial Officer at AmeriState Bank, bringing extensive experience in financial leadership, accounting, regulatory reporting, and strategic growth within the banking industry. Known for building high-performing teams and fostering strong cross-functional partnerships, Lori takes a collaborative, forward-thinking approach to the bank’s financial strategy.

An alumna of the University of Oklahoma (Boomer!), Lori lives in Durant with her husband, Dallas, and their sons, Lane and Owen.

Jodie Moore serves as Chief Operating Officer at AmeriState Bank, bringing more than 20 years of experience in finance, operations, and organizational leadership. Over the past eight years with AmeriState, she has helped guide daily operations and long-term growth with a focus on efficiency, accountability, and service.

Before joining the bank, Jodie spent 12 years in school finance for the State of Oklahoma, where she managed federal and state grants, budgets, audits, accounts payable, human resources, and overall business operations. Her broad experience in financial management and team leadership provides a strong foundation for AmeriState Bank’s continued success.

Jodie is dedicated to advancing the bank’s mission and preserving its legacy as a family-owned institution. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Ron Westervelt serves as the Regional President for Texas at AmeriState Bank, where he oversees market strategy, lending, and team development across the bank’s Texas footprint. With more than 20 years of banking experience, Ron brings a well-rounded background in finance, consumer and commercial lending, and bank management.

He began his banking career in Atoka, Oklahoma, before relocating to Sherman, Texas, to help expand AmeriState’s presence in North Texas. A graduate of SMU’s Graduate School of Banking (SWGSB), Ron is dedicated to relationship-based banking and fostering community growth.

Outside the office, Ron enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and managing his cattle ranch.

Chay Shockey serves as Regional President for AmeriState Bank’s Oklahoma markets, where he leads lending teams across the region. With more than 20 years of banking experience, Chay brings a well-rounded background in both consumer and commercial lending.

He began his career at AmeriState’s Antlers branch, later serving as Market President from 2008 to 2011 before transitioning to the Atoka branch, where he continues to serve today. A graduate of SMU’s Graduate School of Banking (SWGSB), Chay is recognized as a relationship-driven community banker who values building strong partnerships with clients and local businesses.

Outside the bank, Chay enjoys spending time with his family, watching his two sons play ball, and getting out on the golf course whenever he can.
